90% of enterprises achieve their targets

It is understood that this is the eighth consecutive authoritative analysis report on the energy conservation and emission reduction status of Chinese enterprises by the China Enterprise Federation, the China entrepreneurs Association, and the China Enterprise Management Science Foundation. Based on the macro background of energy saving and emission reduction in China since the 13th five-year Plan period, the field investigation and questionnaire survey of local enterprises in several provinces in China from 2016 to 2018 have been carried out for three consecutive years.

Since the implementation of the 13th five-year Plan, China has achieved remarkable results in energy conservation and consumption reduction. Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that in 2016 and 2017, the energy consumption per unit of GDP in China decreased by 5% and 3.7% respectively compared with the previous year, all exceeding the annual target values.
